Contest: Win A Copy Of ‘The Master' On Blu-Ray/DVD (In Stores Today)

"The Master" is out today on Blu-ray and we have 4 copies of the Blu-ray/DVD combo pack to give away to readers who help us spread the word about our "Making The Master" interview series. So far in our series, we've spoken to writer/director Paul Thomas Anderson, producer JoAnne Sellar, costume designer Mark Bridges, production designers Jack Fisk & David Crank, actress Madisen Beaty, editor Leslie Jones and poster artist Dustin Stanton about their experiences working on the film.

All you have to do is tweet a link to your favorite interview from the series using the hashtag #MakingTheMaster and include our handle @cigsandredvines and the 4 readers who get the most retweet's (from legit non-spam/bot accounts) will win a Blu/DVD. It's that simple!

OFFICIAL RULES
1. Your tweet must include a link to one these 7 interviews, the hashtag #MakingTheMaster and our handle @cigsandredvines. How you fill the rest of your 140 characters is up to you.

2. Only RTs from legitimate non-spam/bot accounts with more than 20 (legit) followers will be considered.

3. Spread the word but please don't spam. Obvious spam-like behavior will be disqualified at the discretion of C&RV.

4. The contest deadline is this Friday March 1st, 2013 at 11:59am EST. The readers who have the most retweets by then will be notified via Twitter.
5. You must follow @cigsandredvines on Twitter to be eligible. (This should be a no brainer.)
6. As much as we'd love to send this anywhere, this contest is open to U.S. residents only.

Even if you already have a copy (or one on the way), we'd still appreciate spreading the word about our series! You can always gift the extra one to a friend and any help you can provide in helping other PTA/film fans find the site is always appreciated.

Order "The Master" on Blu-ray and DVD today.
Stay tuned to Twitter and Facebook for the latest news and updates.

  1. Your Twitter account blocked me for criticizing your repetitive retweets of sycophantic raves about 'The Master'. What do I do now?

Well! For some reason all of the stores in my town have not gotten The Master in stock yet... checked them all. Probably the biggest disappointment of my life. Guess I'll have to wait even longer!

  5. Does anyone know if the Let There Be Light doc is only on the blu ray disc? On the blu ray/DVD combo pack it just advertises the features without listing if they apply to both discs, and I'm worried that there wouldn't be enough space to house it on the DVD. By the way, this site is awesome! Thanks for everything.

    1. Let There Be Light is exclusive to the Blu-Ray disc.

    2. Thanks. Though, that's really irritating because he had no problems making TWWB a two-disk set. I get that Blu-ray is a filmmaker's wet dream, but not everyone can afford to spend a grand or two for one of those TV's. Besides, it's a black and white doc from the 40's for Christ's sake.

    3. You can still get a Blu-ray player regardless of your TV and for really cheap too. Mine crapped out recently and I picked up a pretty good one for less than $100. Worth the investment.

  6. Can I have a copy? :P

Loved the film. Hope to see it in the theaters again this week - before it's gone. Hope it's on a 35mm print, too! :) Wonderful film - just like what I imagined, but in ways, even better. Joaquin was amazing.

  7. Hi, thank you for this. I think it is a good idea to copy it to some digital copies, so that more winners can be chosen. Currently, I'm using Leawo Blu-ray Copy to back up my Blu-ray collections.
